The Bowls Club is situated at the far end of Denton Island in Newhaven Harbour .  The bridge onto the island is a left turn off of the ring road just past a new pedestrian crossing.

The majority will approach Newhaven via the A26 from Lewes and the A27.  This route passes Denton village.  Ignore it !. 

Come into the town centre across the main swing bridge, follow the ring road up, round and back down to the river. Prepare to turn left on to the Island bridge after the traffic lights and the new pedestrian crossing.  Follow the road on the Island up to the end and turn right into the Club grounds. 

There is a large car park at the rear of the club which will allow even a big coach room to turn round.   Please do not park down the right side of the building as this obstructs access to the rear.
